I’m writing a novel…
& I have no idea how to do it.
So, I’m making up my own way. And that, my friends, is how we begin.
Welcome.
To the story of a story.
Season 1
-
We open on Juliana’s introduction to freedom… her son’s first day of preschool.
-
Juliana's book comes to her like magic all at once on a Saturday afternoon. The problem is... it's not a good time.
-
Now that Juliana has a starting point for her book she needs resources. She decides to turn to real people for inspiration, and comes upon a love story that is so unusual that she can't help but record it.
-
Juliana revisits a past version of herself, and it triggers more questions than answers this time. But it inspires a single thought: “What if there was a place we could go to learn from ourselves?”
-
Juliana has been trying to imagine what The Archive will look like for some time now. But after making some calls, following an unexpected rabbit hole, and opening herself to an entirely new idea she realizes that the answer has been in front of her all along.
-
Juliana does a past life regression.
As she explores the idea of reincarnation, she learns it is a highly debated topic, and decides to revisit the shadow worker who opened her eyes to a world she cannot unsee.

The story pauses as Juliana checks in with her therapist, and discusses at length the many ways in which the circumstances of her personal life inspire, change, and even dictate her creative life.
-
Juliana struggles to close Season 1, so she turns to her children, nature, and a physical art practice to dig herself out of her own head
Flow First Fridays
While we work on Season 2, We have an Interim Season, set to hit your airways on the first Friday of Every Month.
These episodes are an opportunity to share the words of others who are continually helping me grow into the writer and Human I want to become, and I want to share them because I hope they can help you, too.
-
While I work on Season 2, I want to keep the channel of learning and discovery open on this channel. So, today is our 1st Flow First Friday, a monthly installment, and in it I am sharing an podcast episode that I think everyone needs to hear. I have been working with Coach Bayla one on one for over 6 months, and she has radically changed my life. I am so thrilled to share one of my favorite episodes with you today, which is titled "The Reason We Don’t Have More Time Is Because We Treat It Like Our Enemy. Here’s How to Fix That."
We all complain about time. We say we don't have enough of it. But what if we could change that thought? In this episode, Bayla forces us to look deeper- at our relationship with time, and how the results we get directly correlate to that relationship.
I hope this episode will give you practical tips on how to value your time here.

Some books move you to your core, and you can't explain why. Little Weirds by Jenny Slate was one of those books for me.
In today's episode I read an excerpt as a small meditation for your day. Words are all we have, and I am in awe when certain sentences have the ability to give us a glimpse of how feeble and powerful they can be at the exact same time.
-
“ The best moments of your life are still yet to come.” This episode is one of reflection and gratitude as I contemplate the awe of another year around the sun.
The Podcast
Flow is the story of a Story. This audio adventure will lead you into the mind and life of Juliana Laury, a woman discovering what it takes to write a novel while balancing motherhood, depression, and inexperience. It is the scavenger hunt of what comes through her, out of her, and what changes within her as she records the entire process, and in doing so peels back the curtain of how fiction comes from truth, and why a story is ever written in the first place.

“Just listening to the prologue, I am already anticipating the next installment. Juliana has a calming presence to her tone and stirs thought- provoking ideas. She welcomes you into her story and into the middle of her journey rather than the completion. This podcast is poignant and timely and challenges the listener to slow, to be, and to analyze this wonderfully messy life around us.”
